I made purchases because they looked good and in style, only later to find the quality was poor. I had to replace it or have it repaired. The advertisement presented a false narrative as the best quality, but it was a fake imitation of the genuine product. I am reminded of the believers at the Corinthian church who started following false teachers. The teachers possessed style and methods pleasing to the eye, and talked a good game, but could not produce the goods. Their message glorified themselves. If you consistently want to stay the same over time, then you probably choose style and method. If you desire to change with improvement you’re likely to choose quality or substance. So what am I talking about? Stick with substance.
Understanding and accepting the truth written in the Bible about Jesus assures us that we’re on the path that leads to heaven. This substance will enrich your life. It is where blessings flow. The end goal is peace, joy, and eternal life.
