Meet Rachel Stevens
Ladies, please welcome Rachel Stevens, author of a newly released book, “The 21st Century Nanny”.
The 21st Century Nanny is a refreshing and fascinating read. Rachel Stevens shares her life story from pain and suffering to fulfillment and victory. She shares her pain from infertility, (so common to women and men), Rachel describes how God used it to change her heart as well as her life. The book is an easy read, full of real-life experiences to which many can relate. What most impressed me was the presence of God walking Rachel through her pain to blessings with the life He had planned. She is blessed with one opportunity after another in God’s timing as she faithfully served. Families were drawn to her as she found favor with God. The book is full of adventure, victory in trials, and the hope we have in Jesus our Provider and our Protector.
I can relate to infertility because I to was unable to bear children. It is amazing how God chose our paths to cross with a common ground, and how He moved us from pain to blessing. God makes good out of every situation to those who place their hope and trust in Him. I am thankful He gave me a voice with the Transforming Temples Blog and website to share His love and goodness to the world and to encourage women. What a blessing to share this sister’s story in a book that will touch your heart and uplift your soul.
Rachel and I both knew our coming together was ordained by God. Let me share just how good God is and how he answered prayer for both Rachel and myself. I have been praying to add more content to Transformingtemples.com. I prayed about other helpful topics to share with women on the many issues we regularly encounter. Rachel walks into the office with her newly published book to give to me. She autographs it and begins to tell me some of her life stories described in the book. Much to my surprise, we had similar experiences with infertility, even more, we shared how Jesus turned our pain into a victorious triumph. Rachel was looking for exposure and to market her book. I was looking to add more content to the website. Right on the spot, I asked Rachel if I could get things started and do a video to promote her book and a blog to introduce it on transformingtemples.com. She said “yes” and here we are! The video will be on YouTube later in July. I will announce the date. Now back to Rachel.
Reading Rachel’s book ministered to the core of my soul. Infertility has affected many lives. “Around 15 to 20 percent of couples trying to conceive will have trouble with infertility. Female factor infertility is typically to blame 40 percent of the time, while male factor infertility is the cause of issues 30 to 40 percent of the time. A combination of these factors leads to infertility 20 to 30 percent of the time.”, https://www.healthline.com/health/pregnancy/signs-of-infertility How many lives/families have been affected by infertility? Rest assured, God has a plan for you. Trust him.
How refreshing it is to read and see how Jesus arises Rachel from the ashes to soar high under His wings of protection. I am reminded of the scripture, Isaiah 40:31, “but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.”
In conclusion, in this eloquent, thought-provoking book, Rachel’s transparency encourages the reader to trust God amid your darkest hours in life. She’s a living witness that no tear, no sorrow, and no pain are ever wasted. All things work together for our good. Allow the 21st Century Nanny to uplift you and empower you to go after everything God has for you. There is hope. Dare to live, dare to dream!”
