We are going through trying times, so we compiled scriptures to meditate on. May they lift and calm your spirits.
In 1 Samuel 12:22, we find this promise of God: “The LORD will not forsake His people, for His great name’s sake, because it has pleased the LORD to make you His people.” God desires companionship, fellowship, and communion with those who will reciprocate His expressions of friendship. We can count on the close communion of the Lord, even if everyone else abandons us.
Deuteronomy 31:8, “And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”
Psalm 27:1, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
JOHN 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
Psalm 119:76, “May your unfailing love be for my comfort.”
Lamentations 3:31-32, “For the Lord will not cast off forever. Though He causes grief, yet He will show compassion according to the multitude of His mercies.”
Psalm 9:9, “The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, and a refuge in times of trouble.”
Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with wherever you go.”
Psalm 23:4, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
Romans 8:37-39, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor principalities nor powers, nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Wow, what a testimony, nothing will separate us from the love of God. We have so many rich promises in Christ. “Let not your heart be troubled.”
