Hello from transformingtemples.com. It has been a while since our last YouTube episode. None the less we have been sharing the blogs. It’s good to be back live on YouTube. I pray all has been well for many during this day and time.
I want to share with you today a different topic and to a different audience. For those who follow the website, know I often speak to Christian women because of my burden for the church to function as a people God has called us to be, operating in our spiritual gifts, growing in the wisdom and knowledge of Jesus, and expressing His love to each other and the world.
Today I want to talk with the unsaved, those who don’t know Christ, those struggling to make the choice, and those who said yes, but have done nothing further. I want to share the subject of “Finding Grace In The Eyes Of The Lord.” We will look at 3 points.
The only way people can be saved from God’s wrath is through God’s grace.
Ephesians 2:8-9. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Grace is not God’s reward for a good life; it is God’s response to saving faith. True faith involves you making a choice based on the whole of the inner person, the mind understanding God’s warning about sin, the heart’s fear for what is coming, (an eternity in hell), and the will acts in obedience to God’s Word.
Everybody who has ever been saved from sin has been saved by grace, through faith. Nobody was ever saved by good works or keeping the ten commandments. It is a precious and gracious gift from God to us that can be rejected or received by faith. You choose. So what does this look like? I am glad you asked. You confess your sin. You believe Jesus died on the cross for your sins and that He is resurrected, seated at the right hand of God. the Father.
Without Christ, replace ourselves in a dangerous spiritual condition. Jesus provides an invitation for you to turn away from the sin in your life to receive His gifts.
