Hey ladies, this is a special episode of transformingtemples.com exclusively for you.
I know it has been hard for us right now, not able to get out to get your hair done, nails done, meet your girlfriends to eat out, shop; and having that personal face to face fellowship. I know it has been hard for us right now. Right? This time is so important to us. We need it for many reasons, encouragement, advice, or just to laugh. I know I sure miss it.
So, maybe we can do something about it. Let’s do a ladies night in. During this time of uncertainty, we need to find creative ways to maintain some sanity. I have a few suggestions.
Before I do, I want to extend an invitation for you to suggest some ideas we girls can do to helps us through the next few weeks. I need you to go to transformingtemples.com menu, Syb’s YouTube and click on this post “Ladies Night In” scroll down to the end to comments and give me those suggestions. You can also email suggestions and /or subscribe.
Okay, so here a few of my suggestions. Pick a girlfriend, sister, coworker, aunt, cousin, etc and send a text telling them one thing you love about them and end with something funny.
If you want to get up close and personal do a facetime or Zoom chat. BUT, you must do it looking your worse, hair undone, no makeup and in jammies.
Do a Zoom virtual game night. Pet lovers can chat or zoom sharing something comical about their pet.
Ask a friend if they have a specific prayer request or need. Last, have a Zoom Us dinner together.
We can use our unique gifts and talents to be creative in keeping our girl time fellowship alive. Girlfriends are a special gift from God. It reminds me of the beauty of women in the bible. When I read about the virtuous woman in Proverbs 31 and the qualities of women in 1 Timothy 2:9-10. She is modest, emphasizing the inner person is more important than the outer appearance. She professes godliness- God-like and practices good works.
I am not married, but I have a best friend who has been an example for me. She takes joy in managing the household, finances, dog; making her husband happy as a friend and companion. Her husband has full confidence in her every area of life, he trusts her good sense, her fidelity, and her work. She is creative, has a variety of gifts, a generous spirit, and brings life with a smile everywhere she goes.
That is my best friend, so I know ladies, we need a ladies’ night in. Look forward to hearing from you. God bless!
